Douglas Anderson is a multi-medium artist living in Lititz, PA, creating work with a focus on the figure. He studied fine art at The York Academy of Arts, art education and special education at Millersville University, and has taken graduate levels courses through the University of the Arts. Anderson worked as an illustrator for the US Army while stationed in Berlin, Germany which enabled him to travel throughout Europe and view some of the greatest collections of art work in many major museums. He is passionate about art history and his work often pays tribute to the work of the great artists of the past. The main body of his work deals with relief printing but he also paints, draws and works with ceramics on a regular basis. His work can be found in several public and private collections throughout the US, Canada, and Europe.
