GENERAL INFORMATION

Artists eligible to participate in the Taste of Lititz Quick Draw event must be 18 years or older.

There is a $10 fee per artist/entry due at time of registration. All Artwork must be for sale. (See below) 

Any medium used to create 2-dimensional art is permissible: oils, acrylics, watercolors, pencil, pen, pastel, ink, charcoal, etc. 

Artwork must be completed on Friday June 3, 2022 “En Plein Air” or creating in the open air directly from the landscape.  

The Quick Draw area is limited to a 15 minute walk from the Moravian Church Square on East Main Street. 

 

QUICK DRAW TIMELINE

WEDNESDAY, MAY 4, 2022 

Pre registration opens for artists who wish to participate in Taste of Lititz Quick Draw. 

 

FRIDAY, JUNE 3, 2022 

8-10AM: Artists check in at the Quick Draw Registration Table at 8 Moravian Church Square on East Main Street, Lititz Artists not previously registered may register and pay the $10 fee at this time. 

10AM-NOON: Artists paint/draw within the Quick Draw Area (within a fifteen minute walk of Moravian Church Square) 

NOON-1PM: Artists wire and frame, mat or gallery wrap their Quick Draw Art for display on easels. (If you require an easel,  the Lititz Art Association will have tabletop easels available for use.) Artists label their artwork using the form provided at Check In/Registration. Artists return their work on easels to the Moravian Church Square on East Main Street for judging, display and sales. 

1PM: Display, judging and sales begin. 

2PM: Prize winners are announced. 

2PM-8PM: Artwork is on display/for sale as part of the Taste of Lititz. Event organizers will monitor and handle sales so that artists can enjoy Downtown Lititz and the Taste of Lititz Street Festival as long as their personal schedules permit. 

4PM: Main Street transforms to the Taste of Lititz Street Festival.  

8 PM: Event ends. All unsold artwork and easels must be picked up. 

 

SALE OF ARTWORK

All artwork must be for sale. 

Buyers will bring the tearoff form to the check-out table to make a purchase.   

Artists receive 80% of the amount received for their paintings.  

A 20% commission will benefit Venture Lititz, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization hosting the Taste of Lititz. 

A PA sales tax of 6% will be collected at the time of sale. Venture Lititz is responsible for the payment of PA Sales Tax.
